Our Family Classes, which are unique and exclusive to Gekko Karate, are an excellent way to help everyone, of any age or skill level, to boost their energy and get healthy. Gekko Karate has very high safety standards. We emphasize the spirit of Karate, which helps students learn to be more honest, respectful, and cooperative. They are able to increase their efforts to reach personal goals, and to improve upon good character. Students learn how to focus on, and channel energy through ¨Hara¨ which is the center of energy. Students learn the art of meditation and relaxation combined with breathing techniques (Kokyo Wasa) during karate training. Students focus and learn how to achieve total harmony of the mind, body, and spirit.
