R.H. Criminal Defence

Ryan obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Ryan then obtained his law degree from the University of Ottawa, where he graduated cum laude and won the John Kavanagh award for criminal law. Following law school, Ryan articled at McCarthy Tétrault and worked primarily on the defence of individuals accused of market manipulation by the Ontario Securities Commission. Following his articles, Ryan worked as an associate for Greenspan Partners and acted on cases involving allegations of fraud, sexual assault, drug trafficking and murder. Ryan’s perspective on the preparation of cases and the criminal defence process has been shaped by his exposure to some of the preeminent lawyers and law firms in Canada.
