Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and is trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques and Supportive Psychotherapy. Her professional mental health counselling career includes work at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (Clarke site), St. Michael's Hospital, York Central Hospital, and Southlake Regional Health Centre. She has also provided mental health focused psycho-educational lectures to the University of Toronto's medical residents.Carol is committed to improving overall mental health, mood and outlook for young adults (18+) to adults (up to 65). Her supportive and encouraging approach provides a safe environment in which to overcome the fear and negative thoughts and patterns that stand in the way of moving forward to a life of more freedom, confidence and happiness.Services are tailored to the needs of each individual.
