I believe UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) technology offers incredible solutions, and I'm excited to participate in its evolution. That excitement is contageous when others see the potential for using the technology in their own situation, and I look forward to working along-side these early adopters.With my college education in electronics, commercial pilots licenses in the United States and Canada, and an avid interest in photography, aerial photography was a natural next step.I chose to assemble my own aerial platform after researching the current technology. My criteria included the ability to do all upgrades programming and maintenance, in-house.A further advantage of configuring my own platform is built-in redundancy. I am able to switch between one or two man operation when necessary.Working with Transport Canada to get safety approval for your photo session is vital. As the UAV industry matures, it will become more important that operators have a solid aviation background, as regulation will only be increasing.
