The Armadale Group - The name Armadale has been synonymous with the Sifton Family since the late 1800's and first appeared as the name of the Sifton family company in the 1920's. In the mid-1920's Armadale Corp. was incorporated to acquire the equity interest in the Manitoba Free Press Company along with other assets. In 1963, Michael C. Sifton sold Toronto Airways, a general aviation airport and flying service located north of Toronto, to Armadale Co. Armadale Properties Limited was incorporated as a part of the Armadale Group in 1983.Today, the Armadale Group employs over 300 people in a diverse range of businesses which include business consulting, automobile retailing, property management and airport operations and management.The Corporate Headquarters of The Armadale Group is located at 180 Renfrew Drive, in Markham, ON. Armadale is a family owned company with a legacy stretching back four generations.
