The process of immigration to Canada is complex. Many applications are delayed or rejected because they are incomplete. There are more than 49 immigration programs that lead to permanent residence; there are dozens of categories under which you may apply for a temporary work permit with processes that change drastically based on your profession, employer, province of destination, etc.; and there are many conditions and exceptions on the family reunification programs, business programs and other refugee programs. Immigration World applicants are assessed against a criterion, which is currently in force. However, this assessment is not simply a mathematical exercise that it appears to be. These since several other factors have to be considered to ascertain the probability of successful establishment. The onus is upon the applicant to prove eligibility.
