EMCS Industries was established in 1955 in the beautiful West Coast town of Sidney, BC, Canada. The Company was established by Frank Chappel and Lauder Ramsay who had invented a revolutionary seawater system protection technology. EMCS Industries Ltd has representation in 18 countries around the world. The patented product was manufactured by EMCS and marketed worldwide for several decades under the trade name Cathelco. Since 1983, EMCS markets the system worldwide under the trade name MARELCO. In keeping with the innovative ideas and to strive for stability in a changing marketplace, EMCS Industries Ltd began to actively work towards selecting specific Marine products such as Ultra Sound, Scrubbers and ICCP systems to offer to its customers.
