Maple Leaf Athletic Club

Henry recognized the potential enrichment that an Athletic club could give young men in north east Edmonton.The first year the Maple Leafs were founded the boys were of Bantam age playing in the Midget league. The team did not do too well in their first year, with very few victories, but gained a lot experience and bruises throughout that first season.
