Women in Need Society (WINS) Macleod Plaza

Founded in 1992, Women in Need Society (WINS) is Calgary's homegrown thrift charity, providing basic needs resources and support to women and their families. From our humble beginning, WINS has grown from one thrift store location to six across Calgary, in addition to our Donation Centre. In 2020 we launched a bulk thrift store, MORE! along with an online thrift box service, TwiceNEW. The revenue from our thrift operations supports our programs, like House to Home, Retail Ready, Warehouse Ready and our four Community Resource Hubs. Today, people from all walks of life frequent our thrift stores knowing that their purchases and donations make a difference - right here, right now.
